What is perimeter pest control?
Perimeter pest control is an outdoor treatment applied around your home’s foundation to stop crawling insects like ants, spiders, and earwigs from entering your home.
Which pests does perimeter pest control target?
Our service targets common home-invading pests such as ants, spiders, roaches, earwigs, silverfish, and other ground-dwelling insects.
Do you need to spray inside my home?
No. Green Yard’s perimeter pest control is 100% exterior. There’s no need to enter your home—our treatments work from the outside in.
How often is perimeter pest control applied?
We apply treatments quarterly—four times per year—to ensure year-round protection. Seasonal product rotations help maintain effectiveness.
How long do the treatments last?
Each perimeter application offers protection for up to 90 days, depending on weather and pest activity. We return regularly to ensure continued defense.
Is perimeter pest control safe for my family and pets?
Yes. We use EPA-approved products that are safe when applied professionally. Once dry (usually within an hour), your outdoor space is safe to use.
Can perimeter pest control prevent all bugs from entering?
While no service can guarantee zero pests, our perimeter barrier significantly reduces pest entry and is highly effective at keeping most crawling insects out.
